Overburden — Support

How the game works.

There is no account to recover and no subscription to cancel — the app never connects to the internet. What is left is how to play, and four things people ask.

Sec. 01 — How to play

Place, clear, and let it fall.

Drag one of the three pieces onto the grid. Pieces never rotate. Fill a complete row or column and it clears, and whatever is left falls — connected blocks fall together, which is what lets one placement set off a chain of further clears.

Grey rubble pushes up from below on a clock that tightens the longer you survive, from every six pieces down to every two. You lose when the rubble reaches the top, or when none of your three pieces fit anywhere.

Daily gives every player the same pieces in the same order and rotates at your local midnight, so scores are directly comparable. Endless is a fresh random run.

Difficulty changes the pressure, not the board: Easy, Medium and Hard differ in how fast the rubble rises and how much of it arrives.

Sec. 02 — Common questions

The four that come up.

My progress disappeared.
Scores and settings are stored on the device only. They do not sync between devices and are removed if the app is deleted.
Sound or haptics are not working.
Check the toggles in Settings inside the app. Sound also respects the physical silent switch. Haptics require a device that supports them and are unavailable in the Simulator.
A shared daily link opened a different puzzle.
A link names one specific date and plays that date's board. If you open a link for a past day, you get that day's puzzle, not today's.
Is there an account, or ads, or anything to buy?
No. There is no account, no advertising, and nothing purchasable. The app does not connect to the internet.

One address, read by the person who built the game. There is no ticket queue behind it.
