Houston — Support
Your Mac's agents, in your pocket.
Houston for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch shows what Houston on your Mac is doing. It needs that Mac, and does nothing on its own.
A Mac running Houston.
Houston for Mac runs your AI coding agents, Claude Code and Codex, on your Mac. Houston for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch is its companion: it shows the Mac's board, and carries what you ask its agents back to the Mac.
It needs Houston for Mac, on macOS 15 or later, running and signed in to the same Apple Account as your iPhone or iPad. On its own it does nothing. Get Houston for Mac.
Four steps, once.
- 01
Install Houston on the Mac and open it, with the Mac signed in to iCloud.
- 02
On the Mac, open Settings › Devices › iPhone & iPad and turn on Share with Houston for iPhone and iPad.
- 03
Open Houston on the iPhone or iPad, signed in to the same Apple Account. The Mac's agents appear within about 30 seconds.
- 04
For the live link, on the iPhone or iPad open Settings › Pair with the Mac. The Mac asks “Let (your device) connect live?” with a code, and the device shows the same code. Tap They Match on the device, then click Allow on the Mac. The line under the wordmark then reads Live.
What waits on you, on your wrist.
Open Houston on the Apple Watch paired with your iPhone. It lists the agents waiting on you, with Allow and Deny on a permission prompt.
The five that come up.
- It says there's no board in my iCloud yet.
Houston on your Mac hasn't shared one yet. On the Mac, open Houston and turn on Settings › Devices › iPhone & iPad › Share with Houston for iPhone and iPad. Check that the Mac is signed in to the same Apple Account as this device, and that Houston is running there.
- It says Via iCloud, not Live.
This device isn't on the same network as the Mac, or isn't paired with it. Houston still works through iCloud. To connect live, pair in Settings › Pair with the Mac.
- Do I need an account?
Not today. Houston uses the iCloud of the Apple Account your devices are already signed in to. A Houston account, which you make by signing in with Apple, Google or a code we email you, syncs your devices through Houston's own service instead; the privacy policy says what it keeps.
Privacy policy →- What does it send to Decima Labs?
Without an account, only crash reports, and only if you turn on Settings › Share crash reports. It is off in copies from the App Store and TestFlight until you turn it on. With a Houston account, what your devices sync goes through Houston's service, sealed on the device, so the service can't read it. The privacy policy lists exactly what each holds.
Privacy policy →- How do I unpair?
On the iPhone or iPad, open Settings › Pair with the Mac (it reads Paired with the Mac once paired) and choose Unpair. Or, on the Mac, open Settings › Devices › iPhone & iPad and unpair the device there.
